While we can all agree the trends in the New York Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 collections make the freezing temperatures more than worth it, my favorite trends were in dresses.
Turtlenecks could be seen all over the runway this past week. They were incorporated in the construction of the garment, or paired under a dress. One thing is for sure, they are making their comeback!
One thing is for sure, NYFW was not light on leg. Get ready to unleash your inner Jessica Rabbit, because high slits are here.
Whoever made up the rule “no white after Labor Day” is going to be seriously disappointed. Winter whites are everywhere for the coming year.
In my opinion, the best trend was long sleeve dresses. No more sacrificing your warmth for fashion! These long sleeve dresses are just what the weatherman ordered.
My favorite collection? Reem Acra. Her collection consisted of dresses with impeccable and ornate detailing. There was a strong Victorian influence complete with dresses adorning mutton sleeves. The collection transported the viewer into a different world and I was absolutely enthralled with it!
